Where is TTA?

Starting a TTA in your city, through your YMCA.

Once teens see the good things we are doing in our community they want to start doing the same in theirs. The great part of it is you can. With the partnership with the YMCA you are able to have a TTA in your city that is offered through the YMCA in your community. If you are interested in starting a chapter of TTA please read some of the items below to understand more.

First look for your local YMCA, look through our monthly campaigns and see what’s going on.  Talk with friends and other teens to see if this is something that would go well in your community. Once ready you can contact us and we will send you the application and documents with our bylaws, planning packets and more.

• Coordinate Teen Volunteers with local organizations
• Follow the campaigns we have
• Raise awareness by holding conferences, events and more

TTA feels its important and we require new chapters to be partnered with the YMCA. It makes your experience with TTA more enjoyable and you have the leadership and resources to make it work. With the YMCA they can provide a meeting place, insurance, money management and more. The values TTA runs off are just like the YMCA and now you can do the same in your city.

TTA chapters follow the same mission as we are based on. You are allowed to conduct your own projects however we also would love for you to participate in monthly campaigns starting in 2012.
